The Madison City Community Orchestra took flight for their fall concert on October 20 at Columbia High School.

"The concept of flight has captivated humanity throughout history. From Vikings riding dragons, adorable extraterrestrials striving to return home, superheroes soaring to rescue humanity, to actual human achievements in space travel. Join us tonight as we embark on a musical journey through these iconic soundtracks filled with melodies, harmonies, and rhythms," said Director Sandy Weisner.
Madison Visionary Partners awarded Madison City Community Orchestra a Community Impact Grant for $2000 to assist in putting on a community performance.
"Without the very generous grant that we were given we would not have been able to have the concert at Columbia High School and play on a proper stage. It is our dream that one day we will have a venue to play our concerts but for now the help that was provided by MVP allowed us to really showcase the sound and quality of music that focused on Flight," said Weisner.

Madison City Community Orchestra is dedicated to bringing music to life and enriching our community with the power of live music. Our orchestra is a place where musicians come together to create beautiful melodies that resonate with the hearts of our audience. We believe in the transformative power of music and strive to foster a supportive and inspiring environment for both our musicians and our community.
All Madison City Community Orchestra concerts are free and open to the public.
