Kristen is a relationship-focused and service-driven leader with over two decades of experience in business development, commercial finance, and community engagement. "I support small businesses across North Alabama with strategic partnerships, access to capital, and the resources they need to grow and contribute to a thriving local economy. Skilled in SBA and conventional lending, collaborative leadership, and relationship-building, I take pride in helping people turn vision into opportunity."

Why is MVP important to you?

"I believe strong communities are built through collaboration — citizens, businesses, and local government coming together with shared purpose. Serving on this board gives me the opportunity to contribute my experience in relationship-building, development strategy, and civic engagement to help bring meaningful projects to life. I am passionate about connecting people and resources to initiatives that elevate our quality of life, from enhanced parks and greenways to public spaces that support connection, health, and pride in our city. I’m eager to help continue the positive momentum happening in Madison."

Why do you like living in Madison?

"I love living in Madison because of its vibrant sense of community and the thoughtful balance between family-first values and forward-looking growth. Our city’s rich history, expanding business opportunities, beautiful parks, and great local restaurants make it a truly special place to call home. Madison is a community that welcomes progress while preserving its small-town connectedness — and that combination is why I’m grateful to be here."

"I’m a huge supporter of local restaurants and shops. I love discovering hidden gems to share with friends, colleagues, and visitors."

Can you share a fun fact about yourself or explain something you enjoy doing outside of work?
