Kristen is a relationship-focused and service-driven leader with over two decades of experience in business development, commercial finance, and community engagement. "I support small businesses across North Alabama with strategic partnerships, access to capital, and the resources they need to grow and contribute to a thriving local economy. Skilled in SBA and conventional lending, collaborative leadership, and relationship-building, I take pride in helping people turn vision into opportunity."

Why is MVP important to you?

"I believe strong communities are built through collaboration — citizens, businesses, and local government coming together with shared purpose. Serving on this board gives me the opportunity to contribute my experience in relationship-building, development strategy, and civic engagement to help bring meaningful projects to life. I am passionate about connecting people and resources to initiatives that elevate our quality of life, from enhanced parks and greenways to public spaces that support connection, health, and pride in our city. "I’m a huge supporter of local restaurants and shops. I love discovering hidden gems to share with friends, colleagues, and visitors."

"I have a soft spot for competitive sports atmospheres — from local high school games to SEC football Saturdays."
